Error on create group

When running "osdu entitlements groups add "data.newgroup.viewers" you get an error:

ERROR:cli.osducli.cliclient:Unable to decode the response. Try running again with the --debug command line argument for more information

ERROR:cli.osducli.cliclient:Invalid JMESPath expression: cannot be empty.

But if running it again you get a 409, which indicates that the group has been created.
