CRS convert error message
@kogliny please see email on error message when 500 is returned. if a record id is not found then it says like:
{ "code": 500, "reason": "Server error.", "message": "An unknown error has occurred." }
is it possible to be more descriptive for cases record is not found?
**example 1: **
{
"fromCRS" : "osdu:reference-data--CoordinateReferenceSystem:BoundProjected:SHELL::50015_EPSG::15851",
"toCRS" : "osdu:reference-data--CoordinateReferenceSystem:BoundProjected:SHELL::50015_EPSG::15851",
"points" : [ {
"x" : 7000000,
"y" : 3100000,
"z" : 0
} ]
}
returns
{
"code": 500,
"reason": "Server error.",
"message": "An unknown error has occurred."
}
- These records do not exist in the database. but the message could say that.
example 2:
{
"fromCRS" : "osdu:reference-data--CoordinateReferenceSystem:BoundProjected:EPSG::28409_EPSG::1291",
"toCRS" : "osdu:reference-data--CoordinateReferenceSystem:Geographic2D:EPSG::4326",
"points" : [ {
"x" : 9656205.0,
"y" : 5688917.0,
"z" : 0
} ]
}
returns same as above. I am not sure but assume these records don't exist.
Example 3:
{
"fromCRS" : "osdu:reference-data--CoordinateReferenceSystem:BoundProjected:EPSG::26712_EPSG::1693",
"toCRS" : "osdu:reference-data--CoordinateReferenceSystem:Projected:EPSG::32165",
"points" : [ {
"x" : 600000.0,
"y" : 6000000.0,
"z" : 0
} ]
}
returns:
{
"code": 400,
"reason": "Error",
"message": "Bad request"
}
- I do not see what is wrong with the request here.
