Question about UnitDimensionCode of mass per energy unit dimension
Background
The entities of UnitOfMeasure are loaded from Workbook Published/UnitOfMeasure.1.0.0.xlsx
displayed in the data.Source
property. And the symbols of dimension are defined in https://www.bipm.org/documents/20126/2071204/JCGM_200_2012.pdf/f0e1ad45-d337-bbeb-53a6-15fe649d0ff1. For instance, T
stands for Time
and L
stands for Length
.
However, I found the UnitDimensionCode
of mass per energy
is T2/L2
in the Azure OSDU MEDS platform and the values are a same as defined in
https://community.opengroup.org/osdu/data/data-definitions/-/blob/master/ReferenceValues/Published/UnitOfMeasure.1.0.0.xlsx
So, my question here is what the T
and L
stands for in UnitDimensionCode
of mass per energy
? We are going to provide UnitDimensionCode for the client app to convert the units so it would be good if we can understand the notation of the UnitDimensionCode
.
I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
Have a good one.
