I think according to last discussions on Archimate 3.2 practical application VM must be a "Device" concept, rather than a "Node" concept

even if changing the concepts types (thanks to some improvements in Archi 5) this is breaking the backward compatibility......

It is originally based on UML's "Execution Environment"....

Hm... In case of using System Software element - maybe it's time to change it's name to just "Software" ?...

I'm with JB here. System Software is the best concept for modeling containers, hypervisors, and similar environments. It is originally based on UML...
