Relationship between business actors and application components

I'm fairly new to Archimate and trying to understand how to link things together. We’re building up an application portfolio in our EA tool and want to model what departments (Business Actors) owns what applications. According to our EA tool, the only allowed relationships in Archimate between Business Actors and Application Components are “Triggers, Associated with, Flows, Serves”. I would like to use the Assignment relationship to model that a Business Actor owns an Application component, but that is not allowed? What is the best way to model this scenario?

Assignment is used to model responsibility for e.g. executing behavior or performing a role, so that is not allowed from a Business Actor to an Application Component. The simplest option is to use Association and give that relationship a specific name like "owns".

Archimate is not seen to manage application portofolio. You may isntead manage this as a characteristic|property into application element. Most of good EA tools have specific characteristic to manage application portofolio, costs, maturity level, ... with associated features like workflow, inquiry, dashboard, roadmap, ... All this stuff is tooling, its not related to Archimate.
