Job to be Done - element
I would like a symbol to denote the goal or 'job to be done' a business actor had to use a certain business service. It could be an element that can be linked to a use-relation between the actor and the business service and would be considered part of the business architecture.
The job to be done framework has been developed by Clay Christensen: https://www.christenseninstitute.org/jobs-to-be-done/ This element would clarify why a certain business actor is using a business service and make this visible in a diagram. The job to be done is, in a way, related to the format of user stories "As a , I need/want <...> so that I "
I wonder if the Value Object covers this and if so, if a Value Object can be linked to a relation between Business Actor and Business Service. But the Value Object is, as far as I understand, a motivational element "Motivation elements are used to model the motivations, or reasons, that guide the design or change of an Enterprise Architecture.".
Examples of Job to be Done's... Google Business Service "Find results" - "As someone looking for information, I want to enter data and get relevant search results, so that I can easily find information that I need"
Admission for a university "As potentional student, I want to get a decision on my admittance, so that I know I qualify for this education and can take steps to get enrolled"
Uber: "As consumer, I want to easily and quickly get a driver with a car, so that I can travel from A to B"
