The ArchiMate® User Community is supported by Member and non-member volunteers and The Open Group staff.
Access Rights
- Anyone with a Community GitLab sign-in will default to the Reporter accessibility level. This allows the individual to create and comment on Issues
- Individuals can be granted Developer access to the "Home" (ie. "Welcome to the ArchiMate User Community") project (not the whole group) if they commit to a specific task, e.g.:
- Maintaining a FAQ page on the Wiki
- Curating shared models, storing them in the Repository, and listing them in dedicated pages in the Wiki
- Tagging Issues with the proper label (to ease searchability)
- People can be granted Maintainer access to the "models" (ie. "ArchiMate Models") group if they commit to answering questions about this part of the Community and supporting it (which involves creating projects for new workgroups and managing access rights)
- A "working group owner" can be granted Maintainer access to its own project inside "ArchiMate Models", so that it can manage its own "sub-community".
