Microsoft answer:
We are no longer supporting creation of new instances for Application Gateway Analytics solutions. The customer should utilize Azure Monitor Network Insights - Azure Monitor | Microsoft Docs. Document to access: Azure Networking Analytics solution in Azure Monitor - Azure Monitor | Microsoft Docs; this has complete overlap of feature set and should not be a breaking change for the customer.
All the metrics and logs that customer have in place will already be accessible under Azure Monitor Network Insights - Azure Monitor | Microsoft Docs. There is no additional requirements/setup for the customer to be able to utilize the analytics from Network Insights; there were notifications sent out to all existing customers informing about this change
