Composition Relationship - interpretation
The Archimate Specification describes the composition relationship as follows: "The composition relationship represents that an element consists of one or more other concepts." _ (totally ok for me, no further explanation needed, except "constitution" maybe a better name)_ and further "The composition relationship has been inspired by the composition relationship in UML class diagrams." Does that mean that the UML specification of "composition" has to be considered in order to be able to properly interpret the Archimate relationship "Composition" ?
It appears to me that the UML meaning of "composition" does not match the Archimate meaning of "composition" !
My personal opinion is that while it can be interessting whatever inspired the creation of a concept, it is or should be in the end irrelvant, because "inspiration" is a too ambiguous concept by nature.
