Feature Request
Dear Open Group Specification Team,
NATO has formally adopted ArchiMate 3.1 and the associated Exchange File Format Specification through STANAG 5524 (NATO Interoperability Standards and Profiles).
So far our multinational Architecture Capability Team has used a user-defined property "stereotype" to implement the specialization concept of the ArchiMate language but this is error prone as people had to type the correct value manually. Selecting from a predefine list as supported for example by Archi since version 4.9 is much better.
However, when exporting ArchiMate models in XML the values of the new "specialization" attribute in Archi is not exported. Whilst I understand that these values are specific to the Archi tool they would still be very useful for exchanging files in the Open Exchange Format.
Would it be possible to include a standard mechanism for defining and exchanging ArchiMate Profiles and Stereotypes into the next release of ArchiMate and the associated ArchiMate Model Exchange File Format?
