Its very easy to build the ingestion images locally. This change will just polute the registry with loads of images that 99.99% of them will never be touched/used.

Move test to skip lossless pass when output uint8 or uint16 in deserialization. Added extra logic to GetEffectiveCompressionMethod/GetEffectiveCompressionTolerance that effectively turns off wavelet compression for 1Bit/U32/U64/R64 formats. This implements the same rules as the commercial VDS implementation in order to ensure 100% compatibility.

Autodetect ca certificates location by default
This makes sense now since we are building OpenSSL as part of the build process

Ah, yeah this is unfortunate. The packages are built with -DAUTODETECT_CA_CERTIFICATES=ON on linux. I should change the default.
but are you using IOManagerInMemory? Its mostly usefull for testing purposes.

Make number of threads used by the request processor configurable
Hi @filip.brzek,
Thank you for your patch! I want to appologize for making the effort but not getting the patch accepted. I wanted it to be possible to configure with the connection string and OpenOptions structrue as well. I have made mergerequest !828 (merged). I hope you don't mind. I also ended up making the environment variable name OPENVDS_REQUEST_THREAD_COUNT, since its not controlling the overall thread cound (IO might create a thread or two etc).
