The discussion board (also known as "Issues") is the main place of the ArchiMate® User Community website. It is meant to be used as a general place to discuss ArchiMate topics, share examples, models, or viewpoints.

Anyone can read discussions (and any other content in this website), but you first have to create an account in order to create a new one.

## Creating a Discussion

You can create a new Discussion by going to the [Discussion Board](https://community.opengroup.org/archimate-user-community/home/-/issues) and clicking on the [New Issue](https://community.opengroup.org/archimate-user-community/home/-/issues/new) button.

As soon as an Issue has been created, people can add comments. It is also possible to add images and attachments to a comment to support their position.

In some instances, comments may not be the best way to collaborate on an architecture view. In these cases, you can import diagrams into the "Designs" tab, below the issue content. Once imported, you and other people will be able to add visual anchors to the diagram and associate comments and discussions:
