Ability to support cardinality in relationships between Data Objects

ArchiMate can be used to model business data, application data and technical artifacts.

Currently "Association" relationships can be used to highlight relationships between those elements.

ArchiMate 3.1 introduced the "directional" attribute to an Association relationship.

Attributes can be added to an Association relationship to show cardinality between elements, however this is "non-standard", e.g. the name of attributes is custom to each architect.

This proposal is to introduce a new directional relationship which could be used to relate Data Object elements, and, in a similar way to the Access relationship, could support cardinality via the notation selected.
