Is it time to fully integrate the physical elements into the technology metamodel?

One of the key improvements in the ArchiMate 3.2 standard was the integration of (IT) Technology and Physical Technology in the same chapter. However, IT technology structure elements and physical structure elements are still presented on separate sections.

As the boundaries between IT and physical technology are blurred, I'd like to open a thread to discuss pros and cons of integration them into a single chapter structure, without different sections related to each domain.
