Minor changes in Section 8.5.1

Considering that the Contract element will be deprecated, the following changes are required:

1 - Change the definition of Product from "A product represents a coherent collection of services and/or passive structure elements, accompanied by a contract, which is offered as a whole to (internal or external) customers." to "A product represents a coherent collection of core services and/or passive structure elements, which is offered as a whole to (internal or external) customers."

2 - The first paragraph after the definition becomes: "A product may aggregate or compose services and passive structure elements from all core layers. Hence a product may aggregate or compose elements from other layers than the Business Layer."

3 - From "...a collection of services along with a contract that specifies the characteristics, rights, and requirements associated with the product" to "...a collection of services along with documents, information and computer-ready data assets."

4 - From "... the right to use the associated services" to "... the right to use the associated services, information, and goods (material)."

For better readability, the following changes are suggested:

From "This definition covers both intangible, services-based, or information products..." to "This definition covers both intangible, service-based and information-based products..."
