A question regarding a statement on Section 8.2

Section 8.2 states:

"In contrast to application modeling, it is uncommon in current Business Layer modeling approaches to recognize the business interface element."

Is it reasonable to state this without clear indication of verified sources for such?

I suggest removing this statement, as it provides little value to the standard.
