[ArchiMate](https://www.opengroup.org/archimate) is an open and independent modeling language for enterprise architecture that is supported by tool vendors, consulting firms and hosted by [The Open Group](https://www.opengroup.org/). The ArchiMate Specification provides instruments to support enterprise architects in describing, analyzing, and visualizing the relationships among business domains in an unambiguous way.

This User Community is open to any practitioner who wants to discuss [The Open Group ArchiMate Specification](https://pubs.opengroup.org/architecture/archimate3-doc/). You are encouraged to share models, examples and viewpoints by opening a new [issue](https://community.opengroup.org/archimate-user-community/home/-/issues). This can be to share applied knowledge and better illustrate your question and/or point of view.

Self-organized community workgroups can also be created to work on models which will be hosted into the [ArchiMate Model Repository](https://community.opengroup.org/archimate-user-community/models). Creation of such workgroup should first be announced in an [issue](https://community.opengroup.org/archimate-user-community/home/-/issues). Maintainers will then create the model space and provide access rights as needed.
